Win ‘95 Microsoft has developed a downloadable file, which allows you to print the Euro Symbol. The file upgrades particular fonts on your PC.
True Type font updates are available from http://www.microsoft.com/windows95/downloads. Once you are on this page you’ll need to select ‘Microsoft Euro Currency Support’.
Please follow Microsoft’s instructions carefully.
In summary, you have downloaded a programme called w95euro.exe from the Microsoft website. You have run the programme, which has upgraded your font list on your PC, and has reset your PC.
You can now use the Euro Symbol by pressing and holding the Alt Gr key and then pressing the number 4 key.
Before printing please note that when printing from Windows the 'Substitute Printer Font for True Type' must be unchecked. This can be found in the graphics tab on your Kyocera printer driver.
Win ‘98 Windows ’98 already supports the Euro font, pressing and holding the Alt Gr and then pressing the number 4 button can access it.
Windows NT4.0 Microsoft has also developed an upgrade for Windows NT4.0. This is in the form of a Service Pack upgrade (Service Pack 4). Please see your network administrator for further upgrade details.
